news......

awe this is a long story, so I will spare my poor fingers from typing so much.   after a bad experience for a ton of ladies at girl's camp last year ( as in they had to all hear me snore)   BADLY.  I finally went to the doctor with my concerns 10 months ago and have been dealing with Allergies, snoring, insomnia, etc.  after....looooooots of money, snoring, time, tears, snoring, heartache, unromantic snoring.....I have   sleep apnea.  the doctors determined I stop breathing 20 times per HOUR and I snore, duh!  Loud, duh!  ;)

I have a really awesome machine that keeps me breathing all night, so that I don't stop breathing.  Needless to say this could be a long story but, It is a scary thing to have.   Maybe I will get brave enough to post my pretty pictures with the machine, Maybe

Card Group Ladies

 So in the summer of 2007 I had the idea to create another card group.  Well I did it  and some of the members have changed.  I turned the reins over to a close friend to head it  up when I had lots on my plate, but we are 10 member strong and it is so much fun.  The cards are cute as can be and the ladies are great.  The creativity blows my mind sometimes! This picture is fun because it was the first time we have ever had everyone there.

Our homes have lots of the same decor, handmade, hodgepodge, thrift store,etc.  We would get together and do PROJECTS for hours.  Here is some that i did on my first day home from work with stupid pink eye. ALl in one day!  You could say I never sit around!!!

Well Today was a productive day.  Shopping, Some honey dos, A date with my little man, and Painted My Kitchen Aid. It took me about  an hour, so worth it!

New commitments

I am thankful for good people in my life this year who have talked to me and shared things with me and opened up to me. I shared with some and opened up to some.  I am learning and growing too. I am not perfect. With that said,  I think I may have offended some.  You can always tell because behaviors change yet you don't know what you did.  I was told.... you can't offend. People just let themselves be offended.  I am going to try my best from now on to NOT facilitate a reason for people to choose to be offended by me. I have never tried to offend anyone but, Now I am going to work harder. There is no reason to hurt people in this world.  I have lots of things as a mom and friend and sister I need to work on.

I love this quote and as I approach the new year I am always curious as to what my new commitment is.  This is what I am taking and running with.

I have an 11 year old son that is sometimes a dream. He melts my heart. He has so much love to give. He is very much like his dad and is very tender. I am so proud of him. I appreciate him. I get so scared that he is growing up. I can't imagine what my life would have been with out him.

Homemade Pizza

With working so much I have missed out on all the Home cooking I so very much enjoy.  Today with hanging out all day at home and enjoying Conference. We made homeade breadsticks and pizza.

we went to OC to visit our fun brother and sister and see there new beach cottage! We had such a relaxed time.  Stayed up and watched episodes of our new favorite show White Collar and went to the beach.  We love them and had so much fun. Here is Tink with cousins A and R.  They had a sleep over together in their room.  sooo fun!

nikon

to answer the question I have been getting lots...I use the Nikon d40. I love it! I have some really cool lenses with stabilizers . I love to take pics and this makes the hobby much easier. I also like the canon rebel but the nikon buttons are easier and much more user friendly

Friday Favorites....

I love this man I love this man. he warms my heart. makes me smile. makes me want to be a better person. he is gorgeous and doesn't even know it. I love his smile. He is the hardest worker I know. He is so good with our kiddos. He helps others nonstop and unconditionally. He is darling. I am greatful he chose me.
